We have always been told we can't talk about religion in schools. This issue was brought to the supreme court in 1962."...the Court decided that government may not sponsor prayer in public schools because it is a violation of the First Amendment clause stating that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." -answers.com. Most people would say it should not be allowed because not everyone believes the same things as one another. Others would say its okay and should be taught in public schools because it could expand their knowledge about other religions. Should we be allowed to speak freely about religion in public schools?
